In the Aviation sector, FUELSTAT® is used regularly at various points in the Jet Fuel Supply Chain, from its manufacture at the refinery to the point of transfer onto the aircraft. For Diesel/Gas Oil, FUELSTAT® is similarly employed in the Supply Chain up to the point of use in sectors such as Marine Gas Oil, Power Generation, and for Industries such as Defence and Mining.

REGULAR & ROUTINE TESTING

As part of a regular checking and testing routines covering Supply Chain Infrastructure, such as pipelines and storage tanks for Jet Fuel and Diesel/Gas Oils, as per Industry or internal operating procedures.

For Airport Operations, as well as storage tanks, FUELSTAT® is

also used on hydrants; and the specialist vehicles used to carry fuel to, and defuel Aircraft; as per JIG or Internal Company Guidelines.

 

EVENT RESPONSE TESTING

As part of a response to suspected microbial contamination in Jet Fuel and Diesel/Gas Oil storage tanks or other elements of the fuel supply infrastructure.

 

PRODUCT OWNERSHIP TRANSFER

As part of loading/unloading quality control checks at the point of ownership transfer from supplier to customer.
